JAE Farms Field Day

JAE Farms is opening the gate for a morning in the field at Codette. Coffee's on. There'll be cows and cover crops to look at, and time to stand around and talk about both. Bring the family. There are activities for the kids and a gift for them to take home. JAE Farms has been at forage and livestock since 2014, so you're looking at covers on a farm that feeds them to cattle. That's the useful part. You can see how the blends came up, pull a plant and look at the roots, and ask the people who seeded it what they'd do differently. It runs from 9:00 to 11:30, so you can get back for the afternoon. Come with questions. Whether you've grazed covers for years or you're just wondering if they'd fit, you're welcome here.
