2026 - Producer Meeting - Maverick Livestock
Eureka River Hall -
Eureka River, Alberta
Canada
Join us at Eureka River Hall for an evening focused on practical soil improvement, grazing management, and forage system performance.
Keegan Miller, Territory Manager with Covers & Co, will discuss how cover crops can be integrated into local farming operations to improve soil structure, increase nutrient cycling, and extend grazing opportunities. He’ll cover practical species selection, establishment timing, and what producers can realistically expect under Alberta conditions.
Bryan Zwack from Zs Farms will speak on compost and soil biology, diving into how biological activity drives nutrient availability, soil structure, and long-term productivity. He’ll share practical insights on compost use and building healthier, more resilient soils.
Members of the Peace Country Beef & Forage Association (PCBFA) will also contribute perspective on grazing management and applied research happening in the region, providing local data and practical takeaways producers can use when planning rotations and pasture systems.
This meeting is built around real-world application — practical strategies, field experience, and ideas producers can evaluate and implement on their own operations.
Supper will be included.
