Bio: Steve Kenyon owns Greener Pastures Ranching Ltd., a custom grazing business near Busby, Alberta. With over 25 years of experience, he specializes in regenerative grazing on leased land around Edmonton. Using extended grazing techniques like intensive cell grazing, dormant season grazing, and swath grazing, Steve pastures cattle year-round. For over two decades, he has taught sustainable grazing management and agricultural economics, serving as a keynote speaker at conferences across Canada, the U.S., and Europe. A respected writer for Stockman Grass Farmer and Canadian Cattleman magazines for over 15 years, Steve is renowned for his innovative ideas and business acumen in agriculture. His mission at Greener Pastures Ranching is “Economic and Environmental Sustainability for Generations,” focusing on profitability and sustainability for the future.
Joe Gardiner

Bio: Joe Gardiner grew up in Clearwater, Manitoba, where he and his wife, Melanie, still reside. Together with his family, he runs a mixed grain and cattle farm. Though Joe once considered careers in baseball or politics, he was drawn to farming, starting in 2006. Outside of farming, Joe enjoys baseball, hockey, curling, and volunteering on community boards. In 2018, after struggling with the costs of conventional farming, Joe and his friend Travis Avery started focusing on soil health and growing full-season cover crops. Their success led to the founding of Covers & Co. Joe finds fulfillment in helping other farms adopt soil health practices and believes plant diversity holds the key to a sustainable future in agriculture.
Bluesette Campbell

Bio: Bluesette lives and works on the B-C Ranch, a third-generation cattle ranch near Meadow Lake, SK, alongside her husband, Mark, and their two sons, Andrew and Birch. The ranch operates a 700-head cow/calf and long-yearling enterprise. Originally from a sheep ranch in Montana, Bluesette moved to Saskatchewan and became passionate about Holistic Management (HM) after completing her first course in 1996. Over the years, she’s taken several courses and is now a HM Certified Educator. In addition to her work on the ranch, Bluesette enjoys no-till gardening, cooking, and advocating for individuals with intellectual exceptionalities. Holistic Management principles influence all aspects of her life, and when she’s not working, she’s often out running, reflecting on the world.
